SelaQui Academy's fees structure would generally conform to the norms, where defined and applicable. The fee would take into consideration the cost of building and maintaining the best-in-class infrastructure, high-quality lab equipment & library resources; and highly experienced and qualified faculty. The overall quality of instruction, supporting hygiene factors, life quality at campus and overall connectivity to the post college employment opportunity and the attached costs would factor in while deciding the fee. The academy shall endeavor to provide best value for money.
Semester / Term
The Academy follows the semester system and there are two semesters in a year.
Winter term: starts in the first week of August and concludes in December.
Summer term: starts in the first week of February and concludes in June.
Academic and Other Fees and dues shall vary as per the program for which the student may have enrolled. While it may be subject to such changes as may be necessary and expedient, the indicative figures for each program are as mentioned below.
It may also be noted that since all students do not come equipped with standard knowledge and skills, it becomes necessary to put these students through such programs as may make them employable by the time they complete their program.
Often times such special skills programs may not be a part of the university syllabus but may be an essential precondition for the student to find a meaningful placement. Such students, at the discretion of the Academy shall be required to enroll for these special programs.
Since the requirements are indeterminate, so are the costs associated with such programs. However, the Academy would make every effort that such programs are available to the students at a reasonable cost, without of course, compromising on the quality of the content or transaction.
SelaQui Academy has therefore, structured its fees in two parts. One that provides for academic transactions as per the syllabus defined and the other not being part of the syllabus but considered essential for the passing out students to connect with employment or higher education.
*Dearness Allowance Fees: DA Fees is linked to the inflation index and Dearness allowance installments released by the central government from time to time. The fee shall stand revised to the extent of DA installments announced by the government and become effective from the dates announced by the Government of India.
Personal Effectiveness & Employability Enhancement (PEEE)
PEEE will include communication and presentation skills, linguistic competency, public speaking, soft skills, group discussion and personal interview training, competitions and contest, guidance, support and assistance in internships and final placements.
Students could pay the fees by cash at the Academy counter or deposit the dues in the bank branch in their home town in the designated SelaQui Academy account. Students would receive specific advise in this regard at the time of admission.
Students Shall pay annual fee in one single installment at the beginning of the year.
Student or parents may simply log on to their accounts and pay
through credit cards on line. In such case the transaction fee, as
may be levied by the payment gateway is charged to the
student account on actual basis.
Given the spread of internet banking, students or parents may
pay directly into the SelaQui Academy account of the designated bank
in the town/city of their residence. Students on roll shall be provided
with the bank account details of the SelaQui Academy and they
could pay into this account.
Payments at SelaQui Academy
For those not opting for either of the two methods of payment,
the Academy would arrange to receive cash or demand draft
payments at the academy cash counter on any working day
between 9AM to 5PM.
SelaQui Academy receives no grant or financial support from any governmental or other agency. Hence the affairs of the academy have to be managed from the student fee. It is therefore, important that every student pay well in time to ensure that they receive full benefit of the infrastructure and resources provided by SelaQui Academy
Accordingly, there is no room for default. Any student not paying up as per the rules mentioned above would not be allowed to enter the SelaQui Academy premises and would have to vacate the hostel, if in the hostel, forthwith. No time allowance shall be permitted.
However, in extreme cases, late fee payment will attract heavy penalties with a view to strongly discourage this tendency. Any delay beyond the last date of fee payment whall attract a fine of Rs. 500 per day.
A delay or more than 45 days beyond the last date of fee deposit will lead to the name of the student being struck off the rolls of the Academy.
