It shall be the general body of SelaQui Academy where members shall be nominated by the The Gurukul Trust for ordinarily, a tenure of three years which may be renewed by mutual consent. However BoG may make exceptions where necessary and expedient.

The BoG shall meet at least once in a year at time and place decided by the Executive Council.

The Chairman of the The Gurukul Trust shall be the ex-officio chairman of the BoG.

Mr. Om Pathak

A soldier, Ex-IAS and now an educationist, is the Chairman of the Gurukul Trust, and the founder of Delhi Public School society, Ghaziabad. He has also been on the management committees of La Martiniere School, Lucknow, Colrin Talukdars College, Lucknow and IMT, Ghaziabad. He is the founder of SelaQui International School, an International Baccalaureate school in Dehradun - one of top 'fully residential schools' in the country.

Mr. Anshul Pathak

Mr Anshul Pathak, has been a Treasury Banker with Citigroup for over 10 years mostly in New York and Singapore. Apart from TeacherSITY, an institution committed to teacher empowerment, he also co-founded Town Schools Education Initiatives, a pan India movement in Vocational skilling &Training leading to livelihood creation for the under served communities of India.

Maj. Gen. Basant Singh

An alumnus of National Defense College, War College, MHOW and Defense Services Staff College, Wellington, He has served the Indian Army as Divisional Commander, Chief of Staff and Deputy Quarter Master General.He is also the vice chairman of Governing Body of SelaQui International School.

Mr. Rohit Pathak

An alumnus of Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, with many years of experience with the USSC Group, Philadelphia and leading automotive industries in India. Mr. Pathak has been the Headmaster at SelaQui International School during 2006-2010.

Mr. Vinod Dua

Vinod Dua is a journalist in the Indian media. He is seasoned anchor, political commentator, election analyst, producer and director. In 1987, he joined TV TODAY, a venture of the India Today Group, as its chief producer.

Prof. Sujit K. Basu

A Professor of Eminence was the Director of Management Development Institute Gurgaon. Before joining MDI¸ he was the Vice-Chancellor of Visva-Bharati¸ a Central University at Santiniketan for five years. Dr. Basu has been a Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and was the founder Director of the Army’s National Institute of Management¸ Kolkata.

Mr. Hemant K Arora

LLb.F.C.A, ISA(ICAI) is a Law graduate and is also a fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is the Senior Partner of M/s. Hemant Arora & Co., Chattered Accountants, based at Roorkee and having branches at Dehradun and New Delhi.He is a Visiting Faculty mamber to I.I.T., Roorkee.He was recently awarded and honoured with the Prestigious Uttarakhand Rattan Award for the year 2007.

Mr. K N Memani

A Chartered Accountant, former Chairman and Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young, India. Mr Memani was member of External Audit Committee of IMF, Washington in the year 1999 and its Chairman in the year 2000, the only Indian so far to sit on this committee.

Mr. Ajit Yadav

Over twenty years of rich and diverse experience having managed legal function of large corporations,an Indian attorney, solicitor of England and Wales and a Company Secretary by profession. He started his professional career by joining coveted civil services i.e. IAS ( Allied) Services and worked for a short while for the Govt of India before moving on to the private sector.

Mr. Mahendra Pal Singh

BA, LLB (Agra), LLM (Columbia), LLM, LLD (Lucknow) is currently the Vice-chancellor of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. Earlier he taught at the University of Delhi from 1970 to 2005 where he was also Head and Dean Faculty of Law from 1994 to 1997.

Prof. Madhu Viswanathan

Professor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where he has been on the faculty since 1990. He earned a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, 1985), and a PhD in Marketing (University of Minnesota, 1990). He has received teaching, social entrepreneurship, humanitarian, and leadership awards.

Mr. Satyavrat Chaturvedi

A senior and eminent member of Indian National Congress. He is presently a Member of the Parliament of India, representing Uttarakhand in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He has served as a minister in Madhya Pradesh government and General secretary and national spokesperson of Congress.

Justice R. S. Sodhi

Practiced in constitutional, civil, criminal, land revenue and excise matters in the Supreme Court of India for 25 years. Additional Advocate General for the State of Punjab. An eminent judge of the Delhi High Court.

Mr RS Suri

A senior advocate at the supreme court, has also been the vice president of Supreme Court Bar Association. Prior to this Mr. Suri was running one of leading law firms in India.

Prof. Amit Kapoor

A professor of strategic management at Management Development Institute at Gurgaon is also the honorary chairman of Institute for Competitiveness at Gurgaon. He was awarded Ruth Green Memorial Award; MIT DCA Scholarship and ESSID Scholarship.

Mr. Tauqir Hussain

An alumni of Aligarh Muslim University.He has 35 years of rich experience of working in various posts in ONGC as the head of HR. He brings wealth of experience and expertise in shaping the leaders for tomorrow. He is actively associated with AIMA (All India Management Association), Institution of Engineers (India) and NIPM.
