MBA(Infrastructure and Urban Governance), Uttarakhand Technical University -India’s first and only program that is designed to create a cadre of professional managers for the urban and real estate sector. The university also offers diploma and certificate programs in convenience mode to working professionals in the urban sector field.

                 Career Progression- To meet the need in the urban sector for a course that caters to the challenges imposed by unbalanced urbanization and pressure on existing infrastructure facilities, CUG is proposing MBA in Infrastructure and Urban Governance.
The course offers the participants exposure and experience of the best practices in urban governance. Broadening awareness of the latest trends in policy approach in urban sector, deepening managerial, technical and analytical skills for improving urban administration & providing an opportunity for specialization in a chosen urban sector – are the key objectives of this course which would go a long way in nourishing future urban managers.

Eligibility

This Course is targeted towards in service municipal officers as well as engineers, architects geographers , economists, ecologists and planners. Simultaneously, it would be open for other government / parastatal officers, professionals, consultants, NGO representatives, urban activists, careerist participants, and also any other candidate passionate and motivated towards bringing a change in urban development and management system.

Stream I : For fresh graduates

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

• With English at 10+2 level

• Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor‟s degree / awaiting results can also apply.

Stream II: Experienced Professionals

• Graduates with experience in any of the following sectors namely- government, regulatory bodies, industry, research/academic institutions, donor/consultant organizations, NGO.

Mode of Selection

Admission will as per counseling sessions conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU)

Sponsored candidates with relevant work experience in the urban sector may be selected on first come , first serve basis.

Admissions

Desirous candidate may register as per the application from enclosed and submit along with the registration fee. Subject to meeting the eligibility criteria, the candidates will be allotted a login and a password by email to take the entrance test.
